100 Years of Rotary in BC Party on the Plaza Photo Slideshow...   PPASS BC is pleased to salute Rotary International and Rotarians for the 100th Anniversary in British Columbia. The first rotary club was the Rotary Club of Vancouver which began on April 22,1913. Since that time Rotary has spread throughout the province until there are 145 clubs and 6,000 Rotarians. Support Our Work Join Our Club Latest News As a part of the Rotary Club of Vancouver's 100th Anniversary Legacy project, the RHF Hearing Foundation has donated $250,000 to St. Paul's Hospital, as a matching grant, for the expansion of the Rotary Hearing Clinic.   In addition the Foundation has donated $132,700 to the UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences to upgrade their Clinical Speech Laboratory.
